Source-backed content · Invitation beta

Follow what
matters.

NorthCloud brings content from approved sources into a searchable collection. Find relevant updates in your reader, or retrieve them through an application—with a clear path back to the source.

Invitation-only access. Feed availability is limited during beta.

How it works

Choose a feed.
Give it some context.

  1. Start with your sources

Sign in and choose an available feed. NorthCloud collects metadata from approved sources; the catalogue determines what you can find.

  2. Find relevant updates

Describe what you want to follow. Review a bounded set of headlines with source attribution, freshness information and coverage warnings.

  3. Follow the original

Open the publisher's link for the full story. Record feedback when a result is useful or misses the mark.

The browser reader and scoped API give you two ways to retrieve source-backed content. Your workspace is private to your account.

  • Create a scoped API key in your workspace.
  • Copy the secret once; revoke access when needed.
  • Keys expire after 30 days. Your workspace shares a limit of 60 authenticated requests per minute.

Available now · still a beta

A clear view of
the current limits.

Invited members can use the reader, query approved feeds, record feedback and manage API keys. The current catalogue is small; broad topic examples do not mean broad coverage is available yet.

Reader results use headline metadata and deterministic matching, not full-article analysis. Feedback is recorded; it does not automatically train a recommendation system.

A separate collection capability can track profile and video metadata. Real-source collection for that capability has not been activated, and it is not a self-service feature.

Before you join

Which topics can I follow?

Only topics covered by your workspace's approved feeds. Check the feed selector after signing in. The examples above illustrate possible interests, not the current catalogue. You cannot add arbitrary websites or request a whole-web search.

How do I get access?

Registration requires an operator-issued, single-use invitation. If you have one, use your invitation. Public signup and billing are closed. Invited accounts can sign in immediately; email addresses are unverified and the beta does not send email.

What context do I need to share?

Only what you choose to put in a query. A short description of your interests is enough to start. Keep secrets, private files and whole conversations out of requests.

What if I need recovery, export or deletion?

Contact the person who issued your invitation for operator-assisted account recovery, export or deletion. If you already have a recovery token, reset your password.
